Speaker 1: Today we are going to take a look at the 18 inch long, two inch by two inch black weld on receive tube. These weld on receiver tubes are available in a variety of lengths, dimensions and finishes to match your towing needs. This part happens to be the 18 inch long version. This is a two inch by two inch receiver tube. The internal dimensions are two inches by two inches. It features a nice cast steel collar and a solid stress collar opening.
This 18 long finished tube contains a five-eighths inch hitch pin hole. Five-eighths inch diameter hitch pin hole and it can achieve a rating up to 20,000 pounds. It's a nice carbon steel construction. It has a black powder coat finish. It is open all the way through.
It's open on both ends and then just to measure this we go from this end to this end, is right at 18 inches long. Again, the maximum gross trailer weight capacity on this is 20,000 pounds.That should do it for the review on the 18 inch long, two inch by two inch black weld on receiver tube.

Very simple part. Fits perfectly. There are many places where you can buy similar but much shorter inserts. That's the only place where I found that long insert, which provides much superior support to the shank of the hitch ball.
I purchased this product so I could attach a 2 5/16 coupler on a 2 inch bar into it. Then this connects to the 2 inch Hensley Hitch bar. With this, I am able to move my trailer around my yard very easily and make very tight turns using a stand 2 5/16 ball on my car or tractor. I know this sounds complicated but for those who own a Hensley Hitch, it is fantastic. Your 2 inch receiver “worked like a champ”.

exactly what I ordered
It’s the other part of the equation. I changed from a pintle to a receiver and pull a lot of heavy items.
Just as described, 2” receiver, stout no mounting holes. You drill your own for mounting.
Item is just as described and fits perfectly. I am going to weld it below pinto hitch so I can pull heavy trailers with dump truck.
I used a pair of these to form the outer mounts of a custom triple receiver hitch for a VW Vanagon and they worked out very well. I would purchase them again.
